DESCRIPTION

42ND STREET follows a young small-town dreamer as she strives to make it on Broadway, capturing the heart of her hard-driven director and fellow cast members along the way. One of the longest running musicals in Broadway history, 42ND STREET’s memorable score includes “We’re in the Money,” “You’re Getting to be a Habit With Me,” “Lullaby of Broadway” and of course, “42nd Street.”

STORY

42nd Street is based on Busby Berkeley’s 1933 movie and is considered the quintessential backstage musical. 42nd Street tells the story of a starry-eyed young actress who leaves her Allentown home to audition for the new big musical about to open on Broadway. Though she can’t seem to stay in the good graces of the show’s aging leading lady, she soon catches the eye of the well-known leading man and her renowned director. On opening night, the star breaks her ankle and panic spreads through the company until it is suggested that our heroine take over the role. With a book by Michael Stewart and Mark Bramble, music by Harry Warren and lyrics by Al Dubin, the memorable score includes “We’re in the Money,” “You’re Getting to be a Habit With Me,” “Lullaby of Broadway,” and of course, “42nd Street.”

To access your new account for the upcoming season, you must set a new password at this time. You will be prompted to use this log-in and password throughout the season to manage your tickets online and other Season Ticket Member events.

Why Reserve Today?

—Pricing and seating are locked in at time of invoicing. If additional seats are needed once the group is paid in full, they can be added at the group price up until two weeks prior to the performance date. After that time, additional tickets can be purchased at full price via the box office.

Are further discounts possible?

—For select shows, we may offer a deeper discount for 40 members or more. If your group drops below 40 members, your price will revert to the 10-39 price level.

Group Policies:

—Your 25% non-refundable deposit is due 30 days after booking and secures your seating.

—Your final group count and remaining balance is due by the date specified on your invoice.

—There are no refunds on group tickets.

—Once paid in full, we will mail your tickets to the address provided for your invoice.
